For the right price, you can just about store anything. If you are looking for a prime spot, you may need to make a few phone calls before you are able to find exactly what you are looking for. For example, not every storage location is going to have a ten by thirty climate controlled drive up space. You may have to look around and you may not be able to find one at all. You may have to settle for an inside space or just get two ten by fifteen. Make sure that if you are settling that you are settling for the size that will accommodate your needs.

Sometimes people just end up settling on a space and they do not even ask the property manager if a particular size is coming available. It makes sense to ask the person who is running the property about what is coming open. Instead people just settle and they end up trying to cram everything into a smaller space when they do not need to. That could lead to all kinds of inconveniences such as damaged goods, physical pain on yourself, and also and inconvenience in price. It is very important that you think before you rent.

Price is very important when looking for a self storage unit. Work with your local property manager to figure out what is the best size for you in regards to price. If the location is ideal, see if you are in the budget you are looking for with your storage unit. Location is great, but you know you need to pay for the space still. Maybe you are able to find a space at a location that is slightly further in order to ensure you get the right size for your situation.
